I think the big difference here is she's not left it to fester, she's made the complaint while it's fresh rather than waiting until it's happened a few times and I think that may have helped. Not saying Bryony was wrong in how she handled it but doing it there and then gives people less chance to "rationalise" an event to something less than it was.

She herself admitted she wasn’t going to report it but was pushed to by other riders. If she hadn’t been pushed it likely would have sat until the bloke did it again.

For me, the difference here is the bloke was an arse - got pulled up by a number of people, held his hands up, apologised, taken his sanction - job done and dusted. How it should be and the sort of thing that happens day in day out in the workplace - no one is perfect.

BF was a whole different level
