i quite like NL, and i've got into Soapbox now thanks to SteeleyDan, i'd never even peeked in there before!
i must be a bit oblivious because i don't see a lot of difference in the attitudes in any of them!

I daresay the 'non competition riders' get rather pissed off at the jumped up attitudes of some folk in this bit of the forum. Just because someone doesn't compete it doesn't mean they're a complete non-entity who should be avoided at all costs

just my opinion from that particular post.. i found it to be the other way round.. I havent had any problems with people in the CR.. very friendly and helpful

I don't venture into NL much but find Soapbox quite amusing at times. Some of the threads over Christmas have really made me chuckle!

To be fair if you are talking about your "new boy" post you did ASK for CC in your new lounge post whereas you didn't on here.

I actually don't think any of what was said was "harsh" you actually admitted you knew alot of the points it picked up - i.e. he was unven in trot etc. If you ask for CC you have to take the good with the bad in my opinion - there is no point asking for it if all you want to hear is that you are both perfect

I just asked for people not to be too harsh just constructive, and a few of them did go on a bit

See I only post in CR occasionally, as only doing unaff stuff so never feel qualified to be in here! However I always find you lot very helpful and lovely when I do post.
