To anyone in or fairly near Gloucester I need your help!

Hiya,
Im trying to collect data for my dissertation. Basically I am trying to refine the body condition scoring system for our native breeds of pony. The system was originally developed using quarter horses and as such is not suitable or efficient for assessing the condition of ponies.
I need to take measurements of a minimum of 100 ponies, any native breeds or native crosses. Does anyone have any they would allow me to measure? I am in Gloucester, and willing to travel reasonably far.
The measurements are things like length of back, heart girth, some neck measurements etc and do involve using lots of tape measures and a spirit level - so perhaps not good for overly nervous ponies. It takes about 15 minutes per pony.
My tutor is hoping we will get this research published so I need as many ponies as possible!!
Any one have any I could use?

I feel like I'm stalking you now.

Our stables are about an hour a way, I'm sure our YO would be okay with you looking at the riding school ponies / horses. Let me know and I can ask. I'm on site now so can get a decision for you?

My friend has a couple of welsh D's i am sure she wouldn't mind you measuring them. We are about 20mins from Junction 17 M4, just outside Chippenham area. PM me if thats any good for you.
 
Do you specifically want to measure ponies as opposed to horses?. I am about 12 miles from Gloucester and have a 15.1 ultra heavy build ( although not overweight) cob who you could measure. P M me if measuring her would be of any use to you.
She is on my own land and is an "only horse" so sadly there wouldn't be any others there for you to measure.
 
I am 30mins south of bristol, very near the motorway have a 14.2 welsh D you would be welcome to use if he wasnt too far away for just one.

If I was in your situation I would give a number of riding schools a call, there is one very near me that will have lots of natives and see if they will let you include them in your study, you would soon get to 100 then!

I will pm you the contact details of the one near me then you can decide if 2 far, its a reasonable trip but perhaps worth doing if you can use a lot.
