To anyone who ever has has dogs at their yard/ farm - learn from my mistakes!!

so glad shes home :) we have 8 feral cats at our yard and we have chickens wandering round too - no need to for poison the cats are brilliant.
 
We have a team of men come in with terriers and a smoke machine to deal with our rats, because of the danger to other animals other than the target animals we don't allow poisons of any kind on our property.
The terriers account for loads of rats and it is well worth it, we notice the dramatic drop in rats after their visits.
