that is the question!
My new cob does not seem to be growing a proper summer coat - his hair is coarse and thick and making him sweat up. He was fully clipped for hunting over the winter and just looks like his clip has overgrown if that makes sense....!
I have left it in the hope that a proper summer coat would come through, but considering it is mid May, just can't see it happening, and want him smart for the show ring.
However if I clip him now am I running the risk of never getting a proper summer coat again?
