I would just like to say a BIG thank you to...........

1. The driver of a cement mixer lorry I met on a narrow road who stopped, switched off his engine & cement mixer thing to let me & my horse hop, skip & canter past to catch up with my friends cob who couldn't care less and had walked past forgetting about us.
2. To the driver of a double decker bus who stopped, switched off his engine and fed my daughters pony an apple (through the window) Ponies head was inside the bus cab!!!!!!!!!!

whilst my horse stampeded past scary monster.

I would also like to say thank you to the two young delivery drivers who stopped and turned off their super scary white van, the police man who turned off his blues & twos and slowed down to regular speeds, the local farmers who know my horse is a wuss with their tractors and always pull over and stop for us!!

It really is a lottery with good and bad drivers isn't it? Although reading that article earlier was a shock - sounds horrific.

Just to add, the double decker bus driver on a Saturday morning got into the habit to stop at the local bus stop & feed daughters pony whilst we were out hacking....didn't go down too well when the driver of local company bus changed & pony stuck his head into the lap of NEW bus driver who didn't know what to expect... Naughty pony & bad habbit.....
