I don't normally post much, definitely not this kind of thing, but Mum and I went hacking in Delamere yesterday, and it was packed. Without exception, everyone we met was very considerate and friendly.
Particular mentions should be made to the cyclists:
The guy bowling down the hill, who immediately stopped to give us room when he saw mum's horse having a canary over nothing and warned his friends behind him.
Another cyclist, having seen the earlier *moments*, who cheered my mum on when she summoned up the courage to let said idiot horse have a canter.
The pair who we were accidentally holding up as we meandered along, who when I apologised for daydreaming replied 'that's what it's all about, no problem!'.
Pointless post really, but it was a good day
