I use 'Google translate' service a great deal.
German, French, Italian, etc to English with the press of a button!
It is simply copy and paste using the right mouse button.

The translation does not read like a Horse and Hound article but you get the information.

Admn & blackevnter: it is 7:30 PM in Texas. I trail behind you longly in time of day.
There is going to be a 'global feed' coming out of Hong Kong provided by NBCOlympics dot whatever. It will be live.
That is all I understand except one must do a computer download as instructed at the bottom of the regular page of NBC Olympics. It reads "plug ins". Silverstone is the one to download. It is very short to do.I do not understand anything else.
Please publish the time of day in GMT for the beginning of events.

thanks for that one, blackeventer, very good news about the course, sounds like it'll be plenty difficult enough. can't wait! WFP says in his News that they're hoping to get their first look at the xc course tomorrow.

just read Will Connell's diary from today - it sounds as if everyone had to grab the brief opportunity to work their horses when the typhoon abated, so the arenas were crammed with dressage, event and show-jump horses all working in together. Now, what would you have given to have watched that!
must have been a nightmare to ride in it though, the opportunities for disaster among million-pound horseflesh all crammed together are too frightening to think about! (i still remember what happened to poor Rembrandt...)

We got a bit of needed rain from the tropical storm Edouard.

I read somewhere they are going to draw tomorrow [Aug 7 at 18.3] for start times. Then maybe we can get a firm schedule.

That live 'plug in' for Internet streaming via NBC is Microsoft Silverlight. NOT Silverstone, I think that is a pot. The Internet streaming will be w/o commentators. Just plain live noises.

Thanks kerilli for posting the address. I enjoy the blog and found it informative.
Frankly, I was afraid to post the address. There has been so much bashing on this blog about Amy Tryon and I am a stranger and I do not want to upset anyone.
So thanks.
