To go or not to go...?

Right, so the M&W winter league finals are on the 6th of April... I've qualified (actually managed to qualify at the first DI show I went to with Ali! :g but the venue is about 3 and a half hours away... Should we drive down on a Saturday, stable Ali overnight, and then drive back Sunday evening after the competition has ended and the prize-giving is over with OR should I just "keep" Ali for another show? Just wondering whether we should bother with a 7 hour all round drive when the chances are I'll f*ck up...?

Seems a long way away for a dressage test if you ask me and a lot of hastle but if you feel you are in with a chance of doing well and you want to go the go for it.
