My hairy beasts are getting seriously over heated at the moment whlist i'm trying to get them fit again, do you think its too late for me to re-clip??

Hmm, don't think so - I'm not clipping mine again but a couple of peeps at the yard were today. I guess if your neds are getting hot then its probably the best option.

I wouldn't clip if you intend to show but otherwise its fine

My 2 were done yesterday ....

TB because he gets hot, even if lightly rugged and I want to keep him mud free, so he is clipped ...

Motor because he is a Cushings boy and I need to know what is going on under that thick, fluffy coat

ETS .... Motor's clip will not grow out until July, just in time for the Winter coat to come through

too late now its quarter past 8!!!! but tomorrow is fine!! you can clip for ages yet, and clipping doesnt wreck the summer coat!!! i clip some of mine in april/may june and they have lovely coats! its only mid of jan. dont forget the seasons have changed so the end of jan rule went out the window years ago! if hot and sweaty and looking tatty clip it off!

absolutely not!!!i clip weneva i need 2 and it neva ruins his coat!!i keep him clippd out all through the year (he`s black and gets v hot in the sun b4 we even do anything)x

No...did one Friday (looks fantastic, and far better that his first clip) the other I will do within the next couple of weeks - and he will be fine too. But I have noticed that this year - the ones I did late Oct, have not got as hairey as they did last year.....It is only because I am racing them, that I am doing them again.
