ok, ive been thinking about moving yards for a while now and have finally found a lovely one....the problem is that now the time is getting closer, i am starting to question whether i should or not?
the hacking is much better and the yard is smaller and generally very well looked after and the owners seem nice. the school is lovely too.

the advantage of staying is that i know where i stand with people and i do like the yard owner. the school is not very good and people can be bitchy but i do know everyone.

what would you do?
any opinions welcome x

i have but it seems to be that the new yard wins on facilities and the old wins on....well the fact i already know where i stand with people and the fact the i know the yard!

Hacking is always a great thing, i think the fact you are looking in the first place says enough to me that you should go for the new one.
I left a lovely yard in december, not v.good hacking though, but great yard and people, but i moved to the most amazing one with amazing hacking and am so happy, good luck with choosing

thanks, that really helped. it is true, to look in the first place indicates im not 100% satisfied and i am sure the horses will benifit so i do think the new yard may be the better choice x

i would move if the other yard is better, especially the hacking.. im sure the horses would appreciate that more.

very true, i think im just nervous in case i end up regretting it or not getting on with the people at the new yard but i suppose its the same every time you move!

If you always went with the criteria that you know where you stand with people then you would stagnate somewhere & never move on with anything in your life. The decision is obviously yours but if that is the only thing keeping you then you have nothing keeping you so move.
