To stable or not?

Basically as the title says. Debating weather or not to stable my mare this winter. She's a very fine tb mare, had her stabled last year but it use to take her ages to settle down unless it was already for her to go straight in, ie feed ready on the floor, Haynet up and ready. This year she has moved to a new yard and is quite happy with the other horses that live out 24/7, good thing is this yard has 24/7 winter turnout my old one didn't. Just don't know what to do?

If she's happy and you're happy keep her out...simples.... Ps I'm a Lucy Rebecca too!!!

I agree.. if she's happier out then by all means leave her out. Just rug her well and watch her weight etc but if she does well then keep her out, i'm all for them being out and being horses if you have the means to be able to. My horse howver loves to come in his stable when the cold sets in.. he'll be standing at the gate neighing at me to hurry up.. even though he is out in lovely grass as they have just swapped fields.. creature comforts and all!
