To swap or not to swap......

tafster...

i like to keep things on open, if you have any more "constructive" remarks, let's keep it here, rather than via PM, eh??

i thought my original advice of sending the animal away to someone more experienced was valid...

this thread has proved that.

oh as for my hair and my showing outfit, as you dont ride yourself, i'll forgive you for you are obviously unaware of ettiquette at "local" level.

Don't tell your Mother how to suck eggs...

As for your sad, pathetic opinions you have of me, keep them to yourself, did your parents never teach you 'if you don't have anything nice to say don't say anything at all?'

Ummmm... surely you understand that if you ask for opinions some will not support your own point of view?
I think it's quite amusing that you are attacking Mairi for not saying something nice, when it seems you have no intention of doing so either....
*sigh*

fingers crossed the welsh finds a permant home and sarahgema has got the right horse this time, sadly a lot of people think they have the time and experience to sort these problem type horses out and soon after they realise they havent got the time, facilities or experience, and this is why many horses are labelled as problems. and end up on the dealers circuit....

I think it was already on the dealers circuit from what I've read, just people like to label themselves as 'producers' instead. Probable just out to make a quick buck but the horse found them out. Feel sorry for the horse, will probably end up in a pikey cart.

I will this time apologise to JM, i thought we had all got bored of this post and thought better to PM you rather than you miss what i had to say!
I have no problem in posting my PM on the open forum, just as you don't mind what you say!
Your right "local showing" isnt something i do, but my son does and he is always well presented! I am the one who produces the horse to show standard and he does extremely well - hence me offering advice on presentation would only be beneficial to your future success. I obviosuly get what the judges are looing for in that "overall pretty picture"!
As for Ihotse comments on me swearing and thinking maybe i'm jealous - absolutely not what have i got to be jealous of? and if you look at this thread i made no comments until others involved me!
Another thing i dont give up lightly hence I had a tb that stood me at approx £10k, and tried everything in the book and stuff not in the book to help him and his problems.
The sec d in question had no specific issues he was unpredictable and i was not capable of dealing with him, the rider wasn't comfortable and after he was handled by a male rider and proved to be so much better around him that concreted the decision to let him go, the pony was far too good to be a field ornament!

as from reading the above and seeing Taffsters latest post, I want to add that by adding this post iv obviously caused quiet a stir which was not the intention, everyone has clearly picked up the wrong picture of myself and Taffster, but like I've already mentioned above, the horse wouldn't have gone anywhere we didn't know where he was going to be, It was only my friend who took him and we still see him. We have regular updates of his well being - so anyone worried about him (i know a few quoted they would lose sleep over him) theres really no need to be.
For anyone who knows me personally or from my yard will know that my horses are always looked after and pampered and come before anything else in my life - im sure anyone who really knows me will back me up on this.
I really do think it is time to put this post to bed now, I think it has got way out of hand and the 'issues' discused in here have all been resolved.
Thanks for everyones input and the few peoples constructive critism.
