How much would you be looking to pay for a horse that has qualified British novice , discovery , newcomers and fox in 1 season? Also qualified scope , blue chips (1.15) and amatures (1.10)
No vices or faults. Very well established , 7 this time.

Help would be appriciated
Thank you :)

£15,000 for decent conformation and no real notable breeding, if moves spectacularly with good breeding, potential to jump the big classes and winning classes it could be double that if you were willing to ask it, it depends but with a horse like that it's whatever you are willing to ask for it and how long you want it to take.

I know of a 5 year old (last year) that, if it was for sale would have been up for at least £12,000 with matching achievements to the 7yo you've said about apart from Fox double clears. So i would say around £14/£15,000 mark.

TBH I think you would be lucky to pay less than 20-25k if he's orthodox to a fence and has a bit of scope to spare.

at the moment its very much dependant on who reads your advert!!

mine was advertised last yr, 16.2 6yo, darco x concorde kwpn, snaffle mouth, no vices, schools up to 1.30/40 at home tho still work to do that round a course, bags of scope, notional 145, double clears at bnov, disco, 1 newcomers, qual b/chips, scope 1m, am finals 90 + 1m, good in traffic beach etc was up at 6500 and didnt sell.
she is ginger, thats the only reason i can think of :D
anyway im glad cos i love jumping her n didnt want to sell really! :D

You cant really say as obviously depends on ability and attitude of the horse. For a GP potential horse you could be paying SERIOUS money but for something thats going to be a good competitive amateur horse i would think about 15-20k :)
