Could you please do me a favour and measure your gaiters width when they're lying flat out? I bought mine a while ago and they were quite tight and the elastic had to be strech A LOT to fit onto my calf.

When I meaure the length it's 18" (like it said on the ad) but 10" in width even though it was supposed to be 14" ! I wouldn't so worried if they were supposed to be about 12" as then the elastic would only have to strech 1 inch on either side but the 2" seems to be putting serious stress on the elastic bit!

My very old leather ones (but they may be classed as 'chaps'), are size C14/L15 .... Calf measures 13 1/2" which is the widest part, stretched out at the top, edge of zip to edge of zip and 15 1/2 at the longest part, which is also by the zip.

... and they have been through the washing machine

I hope this helps ;)

Thank you! I was wondering why after only half a stone weight gain they wouldnt even meet each other by 2 inches! I must have been sold the wrong pair
