To Vet or Not To Vet?

Thinking of buying from highly recommended dealer who offers 2 year warranty. Would you still have it vetted or not??

Yes definitely, also if you want to insure the horse quite often they will want proof of vetting.

Yes, vet the horse. Just because it has a 2 year warranty, it doesn't mean you will always have a come-back. How, for eg, would you prove, with the absence of any vet report, that the horse had whatever problem when you bought it?

Definitely vet, I made the mistake of not vetting a purchase once, the horse became unrideable after 6 months and had to be retired. A warranty doesn't always mean anything.

i never vet any of mine, so no i wouldn't vet.

and one of mine is insured for £5k incl. loss of use and they didn't require vet cert (nfu)

2 year warranty?? how on earth can anybody warrant horses suitability and health for 2 years?
