Toby is ill

Our old Lab is ill had bad diarrhoea (sp) yesterday and last night so he was taken to the vets this morning and was also sick twice when there, they weighed him and he has lost weight since he last went which wasn't long ago so they have done blood tests and he has to go back in the morning (not sure what for yet) but he is only allowed water and no food at home. He has also started to do a weird chokey noise every so often which is hard to explain but we have to video it to show the vet.
He did say it could all be partly to do with old age as he is 11 this month.
Im hoping its nothing serious

Poor Toby, I'm with you on the worry stakes, our old dog is also ill. Been to vets twice and still don't know. Drugs yest and xrays and more drugs today. She looks a bit better so have to wait and see. She 12.

Toby had to go back to the vets this morning and because he is not keeping the paste down (which is apparently very unusual) they want to keep him in for x-rays today, they are busy but wanted to x-ray him before the weekend.
