But anyway. Socks first, while getting dressed upstairs. Then shoes as I leave the house.

Who on earth does it any other way?! I don't wear my outdoor shoes in the house, what kind of insanity is this.

I also wear socks to bed, so I get up, take my bed socks off and put my day socks on. First pair 1 (short cotton ones with thermal leggings tucked into them) then Pair 2 (long woolly ones with trousers tucked into them).

And I always put the left shoe on first (depsite being right handed) because, as others have said, you should always work left to right.

I wonder whether people in Arabic and Hebrew speaking countries put their shoes on right shoe first. I would LOVE to do some kind of study.

Tights on first (left leg first) then left sock followed by right sock. No shoes or boots until leaving the house and again it would be left then right
Think I am very one sided lol

I put on socks upstairs. One then the other bit it doesn't matter whether it's left then right or the opposite.

Then I put on suede slippers, then trousers.

Some days I don't put on shoes, but slip on clogs to go to the garage, into the garden, or just to put the bin by the kerbside or to get the post from the letterbox.

Left sock first and left shoe first. I am left handed. I always work from the left. However, I find it easier riding on the right rein.

I alternate which foot first depending on whether the socks are on a second day of wearing, as I always put them on the opposite foot to the day before. Otherwise the big toes end up in holes before the rest of the sock is worn out. Then I put my jeans on followed by slippers.

The alternating depends on which sock I pick up first.

Socks first. Left, then right.

Then shoes, when I find them. Left goes on first, then right. Sometimes I think about picking up the right one first... but... that's as far as that goes.

Right-handed.

No socks in bed no matter the weather or season. Sometimes I stick my feet out the end, free of blankets and/or doona, even in winter. I think I suffer sometimes from low-grade laminitis from the things I tend to eat in the evening.

You live in an alternate universe whereby every person is allocated one day in their lifetime where they are permitted to commit one crime and not be punished for it. The crime can be anything except causing physical harm to another person.
What is your crime and why?

what a good question. I have always wanted to smash the window of somewhere like Harrods. Not to steal anything just the thrill of smashing a huge window… I am a very law abiding person so would never do it but would love to …

I’m sure most people would say rob a bank. That’s a bit boring so I would break into everyone on this threads house who puts their socks on wrong ?
