After all the hiccups and confidence blows I managed to scrape some funds toether and have a lesson.....and to say I am almost back to the original levels of confidence is about right.
Everything was begining to fall apart with my girl and I, and I was begining to think after the fall and her back that I was never going to get back to where we were. A weekend away helped. I came back from visiting my parents a little more inspired and got on and started schooling her, sitting all her stupid major spooks and "plopping" out of the saddle on a silly side step!
Today I managed to have enough money in the Kitty, and an improptue lesson was booked. We dealt with the issues I had managed to identify and cantering around with my horse in an outline and actually between hand and leg was amazing... I felt like a "proper" rider, I knew she could do it, just a shame about the pilot.
So.... now feeling on top of the world I am going to grab the confidence by the throat and actually go and achieve something!!!!.
