Has anyone any tips for removing wet mud from car upholstery? ?

yep, 5 filthy wet muddy dogs into the back of my estate car after the walk.... I keep the back seats down flat and resign myself to the fact it will be awful ‘behind the dog guard’

Except unbeknown to me, the dog guard had slipped..... so I put the dogs in, shut the tail gate, went round and got into the drivers seat and Lo and behold, there was George sitting next to me on the passenger seat!!!

I may have said some very rude words at that point before picking him up by his harness, putting him out of the driver door and quickly returning him to the back of the car! Little horror.... ?????

But obviously you made a mistake, of course, the little prince should ride in style in the front seat and not with the inferior minions in the back - it's a terrier's right you know!!

????

It is my fault really, quite often I do pop him on the front seat as it means he keeps quiet while we are in transit.... but only when he is clean! Of course dogs don’t think like that ??

Oh Lev! How could you!? The back seat?? I hope you are suitably ashamed of yourself. ? Do you really think the dog guard had just "slipped" or had George engineered it that way? ??

well I’m still not quite sure how he fitted through, bearing in mind he is a portly little soul ? Probably he used the mud as lubrication to slip through the bars!!!

I think I’ll have to restore his piece of vetbed onto the front seat.... silly me, I took it off to wash!

Bwahahaha... He used his terrier teleporter, they all do it! You think they're safely in one place (put away/in the kitchen/not in your horse's field at turnout time), then you turn round and there they are, at your feet, looking at you expectantly

I agree, I thought it was the end of Hector when he languidly appeared in the school, on the track, while I was lungeing

One of the commands that my dogs have installed completely 100% is OUT!! Which means run for the nearest fence line. Taught to them due to their propensity to pop up somewhere ridiculous.
