My absolute favourite stallion. And what a beautiful chap he is!! It was like I'd met the queen!!! I felt honoured to be having a cuddle with one of the top event sires in the UK.
All Carolyn's stallions were a pleasure to be around, such lovely well mannered boys and it was wonderful to see them in large airy stables, able to sniff eachother and not chained to the walls. How a working stud should be imho!
We settled on jigilo for our mare, jumbo is a bit big for her and only frozen now so its nice to still have that line via jigilo, whilst adding the height and refinement we wanted. Can't wait for the stud season to come back around :D
 
My OH has been debating about Jumbo, Ive not seen him as yet though. Yes, roll on next year, this ones a bit of a wash out for us! :
I dont know jigilo, just about to google him.
 
I met him the year before last when I collected my mare from stud after being inseminated with frozen from him. He is a wonderful lad, such presence. I don't get overawed by many horses but really felt that I was in the presence of Greatness in his stable. Lovely lovely boy.

Haha, jokes about buying semen never get old.

I still giggle, when i think about the time i had to ring my bank to authorise payment to The French Stallion Company for some Royaldik semen. I tried to joke that i was buying a bit of action for the weekend. The banker didnt laugh. Cant understand it !!

Love jumbo too, although current mares are too chunky for him.
 
I went to see him a few weeks ago, hes gorgeous such a sweetie! I've had a lovely colt foal by him this year, so excited for his future :-)
