..........was really good. I was worried that I'd do something daft like bounce off the side but I really enjoyed myself. It felt so odd having someone else in charge of the pony and having nothing to do except think about my position.

Nelly was slightly uncertain as to why Mummy was flinging her arms around in the air whilst she trotted round but she soon shrugged her shoulders and accepted that I was obviously pretending to be an aeroplane. I even skimmed the top of her ears with one ill judged manoeuvre but she didn't care.

I think that my sitting trot has definitely improved even after one session. My daughter was watching and she said that my bum was firmly rooted to the saddle so I am chuffed with myself. I know it's not much to feel proud of but I love it when I improve even a little bit.
 
I had a lunge lesson the other day to improve my position need to stop gripping with my knees so decided to have a lesson and did some exercises with my legs:

Photo is a state, but it worked my seat and position was much better after the lesson. Lol or what
