They look nice though I decided I'm going paint my stable doors grey this year I think it will look nice with the red brick.

That mounting block is something else literally a step for everyone 😂
It's amazing! I'm having a few mounting issues at the moment, as my knees and hips are a bit knackered, and it was making me very windy about getting on, so this was designed/built to a set of measurements taken by an occupational therapist friend, and should make getting on and off really easy. The liveries also benefit from many more steps than we probably need! It's a thing of overengineered perfection!

Biggest horse is Alf who is 17hh. If I stand on the top step, I can get on without using the stirrup, and without putting any unnecessary pressure on my right hip/left knee.
I get on like that, just stepping over; but my horse is tiny so a normal sized mounting block will do!

Oh now that is a genius of a block. Also good for dismounting with dodgy joints.
That's a big part of the decision to build it. Getting off hurts me more than getting on, but my old mounting block had a much smaller surface area, so landing on it accurately was a bit tough! The top 3 steps of this one are 600x600, so should be much easier

Fabulous mounting block but I hope you are going to finish it with solid steps. I am not sure I like the type rope style that it is now! I can see a big ochey if horse gives you a nudge.
