Today's walk - pics!

We had such a lovely autumnal walk today, I tried to take some piccies on my phone although I have to say they didn't come out too well

I really must get a proper camera!

I tried to take some pics of the views but the colours didn'tshow up - it was beautiful, the leaves were gold, the bracken was red and the light was great - but my phone wasn't up to it

It's a hotterdog fleece

He loves swimming, but he was shaking like a leaf when we got back to the car and he stopped charging about, it really helped to warm him up.

Beastie wears her little coats if she is gonig for an on lead walk, but otherwise she is naked, so when she gets back she shakes too! I turn the heating up on the car

Do you get his fur cut right back for winter?

Bless him, he kept trying to take my legs out from under me with it!

Gina, he's clipped all year around, he dries off quicker and picks up fewer matts and burrs that way. He was honestly quite pleased to see the jumper come out of the car, he was chilly! I think he was less than amused at having to pose for a picture before he could get into the nice warm car

And I can see that even though he looks a total muppet in it, Henry's coat is really good for him

I took mine out in a dry spell today and have finally found where I can let them off

Will get some pics next weekend when I go out in daylight, Flick thought it was ace running around in circles

I think I'm gonig to commit the ultimate sin and clip Beastie's leg hair right down as well as she thinks she's a labrador

I ummed and ahhhed about having him clipped in winter for ages, but since he lives indoors it seemed to make sense to have his fur short and quick-drying. Still not convinced though, am now umming and ahhhing about whether or not to have him clipped so short the next time
