Toddler Body Protector

I have just got my 2 year old (next month) boy a Champion body protector, even though he is tall for his age, it is still quite long in the back and very bulky, it really tips him forward in the saddle. Can anyone recommend a different make that is better for little people, I was thinking maybe a racesafe one??
 
In all honesty I think any body protector will adversley affect his posture and balance at that age. Mine never wore body protectors for pootling about on the lead rein when tiny as I feel they do make it harder for them to sit and balance.
