My OH bought me a pair last Christmas to replace my Dubarrys. I have worn them less than 10 times during the year, like my Dubarrys they are for *smart* to be worn at events, etc., and not for the yard.

Today I wore them at an event I was helping to run. I was on my feet for 4 hours, on good ground but with a wet grass covering. My socks were absolutely soaking :( I have contacted Toggi about this, but wondered if anyone had had the same problem with them. Fact is I NEED a pair of waterproof boots I can rely on. I am not going to stand in water for hours, but I want to be able to walk an XC course and watch proceedings without having wet feet!

These are the boots I am talking about...

How disappointing! I bought at the beginning of last winter as they were so much cheaper than Dubarrys and wear them every day....and have not had a problem yet. It sounds like you have a duff pair, hopefully Toggi will sort it out for you, good luck!

No way!

I've had mine a year and worn the hell out of them!! They still look fab and my feet are still warm and tosty and dry!!

I got recommended them by a friend who manages a local saddlery and they sell an incredible amount of them and she said they'd never had a single pair back (unlike the Dublin ones which they no longer stock).

I've had mine since xmas, wear them most days in mud and water, not had wet feet yet. Sounds like they are falty. What did Toggi say about it? Are they going to replace them? I hope so, or a refund.

I've had mine for nearly a year, they have been worn in all conditions including deep snow and very wet ground, they have never let my feet get wet and have always kept them toasty and warm!

Don't give up on them yet, if you can get a replacement pair that aren't duff they are worth giving a 2nd chance!

They are very good boots. Toggi are very good and I'm sure they will send you a replacment pair. Although they are waterproff all over I did put dubbin all over mine as well to start with to help but have had not 1 drop off water though mine.

Weezy thank god it's not just me, love Toggi gear however having had problems with the Calgary boots, zips kept breaking (and no I don't have fat legs!!!!!), I thought I would try the Canyon as they are a smart boot.

4 weeks in just walking through wet grass feet are soaking every time, so much so that now have to take a spare pair of socks to the yard for my riding boots. Really dissapointed as it's not like I have been standing in a puddle or a river seeing how long it takes for water to seep in. Literally just walking through the fields.

Would love to know how you get on with Toggi as tried to get in touch with them before re the Calgary boot however was just ignored, was very tempted to not go with them again however did love the look of this boot so thought I would give them one more try, hmm maybe not now!

Never had a problem with mine and I wear them dog walking through mud and at the yard! Hopefully Toggi can do something for you, maybe they were a dodgy pair?!
