I like mine. I'm a 5/5 an half and bought a 5. They fit fine even with big socks on. However if you have skinny legs they do drop down and I could probably hide the kitten down there! But I've had mine a couple of years now and they are worn pretty much everyday and are still as water proof as when I got them and in all fairness haven't dropped that much
