Toggi leather hat has shrunk!

Shock horror! Most upsetting

Basically I wore it in the rain the other week, and then it accidentally stayed in the boot of my car until this morning - it has shrunk ever so slightly too much and I don't even think I can wear it...

I'm currently soaking it in the bath and am going to try and wear it wet/reshape it once it's saturated and then let it dry out really slowly.

Not sure if this will work though?! Has this happened to anybody else? They're expensive and really don't want to have to replace it!

My non-horsey friends all take the michael out of me over this hat, but I don't care and continue to love it Needless to say they probably won't miss it

Mine too has shrunk over the past few years, ended up buying another hat at three counties show the other day (same design, different make) you can put them on a hat stretch as leather will stretch, I didn't try this as needed one to fit asap! Good luck with it.
