Told off by a 4yo....

No way. I have had a dog with campylobacter which can easily b passed to humans. Very nasty diarrhoea bug, I won't chance it

Yes, of course, the plate is washed after!

Though having said that, I'd rather share a plate with my dog than a lot of people I can think of (though I don't do that either)!:D

On the other hand, I don't let my dogs lick me, my face, or anything else....

You and I are too similar by half in some ways... :D

ew ew ew no!!!!!!!!!!!

they get the scraps - in their bowls!!!

nor does my dog lick my face and i always wash my hands when they have finished licking my hands/feet! lol!

No makes me cringe knowing what the eat & lick i don't like dogs licking my face either, that scene in Something About Mary when Magda's dog licks in her mouth makes we want to puke! I scrape any edibles off into their bowls.

Have had few people let my poo-eating licky dog lick their faces as they presumably like it, though by that stage sems too late to say by the way she ate a load of (insert some animal) crap this morning!

Meh. If I can survive my cooking, I figure dog drool is not likely to be an issue, tbh! And yes, they lick faces but only if given permission. Can generally smell if they have been in the litter box :)

nearly lost my old fella to campylobacter earlier this year, we think that the 2 ferrets that died in the heat this summer (they were very elderly) may have had it too and that it has come from the fox that comes in the garden-so no dogs don't lick human bowls etc (unless the lurcher steals something.

face licking blurgh!!! yuck yuck
