one of these at me!...
they are about 3 inches thick at the top. The longest one was 1.3m this morning at 8am!
Tom got stroppy about waiting for me to turn them out, reached round the stable door and grabbed what was nearest... it just happened to be a whopping great icicle! (he regularly throws brushes, and forks at us if he can reach them!)
He looked utterly shocked at the coldness in his mouth though!
this feed shed door is 5'9" tall, so you can see how much snow we've got and how long the icicles are!
