Oh bless him his crash diet is working...poor boy had all his show muscle to lose he is getting there though...

He seems ok thank you... still really sore but he is happy in himself and that is the main thing. He is getting far too used to breakfast and brushes and cuddles in bed. I don't think we will get him out of that....
 
He looks so much better - he will better for it in the long run. My cob now lives on soaked hay and measured amounts of Happy Hoof etc as per the Lamintis Clinic diet and it keeps her weight off perfectly - but most importantly it keeps her pain free and in work.

I never run my horses heavy anyway..I always have them fit and happy first...trouble with Tom is he carries so much condition on fresh air....
 
ooh he looks lovley! What breed is he?
He looks much like mine, who gets fat on thin air!, i have just found a grazing muzzle big enough for mine (extra full size!) and he will have that on soon, so he can go off with his field buddy without me worring about him gorging himself silly!
