tom thumb bit question

i have this bit, except mine has a plain ss mouthpiece and the two rings at the bottom where the reins are attatched are loose rings. i previously rode my pony in a dutch gag. but was told this bit is much kinder-ive tried my boy in it and he goes well. i rode in one pair of reins on the rings at the bottom(with an elasticated curb chain) . is this right or is it designed for 2 reins as it has rings for the snaffle rein???? any opinions on this bit??

I use 2 reins but you can only use one if you want to. I needed the lower shank as a back up so only use when I need it and use snaffle ring modt of the time

very similar to mine. i cannot find a picture of mine anywhere nor much information on them!!!!!

i have a similar one to warrior except mine has little rings in the joint -- i will find a picture for you. my horse goes well in this bit and have tried others but she hates them, i use mine with one ring and i can steer and have some form of breaks.

Re Cra3y chestnut - I Love this bit and have used it on my forester for hunting and xc, its a fab bit for him.
