I really really really do wish that he comes through it, I will keep everything crossed for you.

Keep your chin up for now for him, and as the others have said, he will let you know if he is ready

I hope that you get the miracle recovery and turnaround that all of us are wishing for you and Tommy. Although you have only owned him a short time, your posts show how much you care and think of him. Thoughts and best wishes are with you, Tommy and your family.
 
Oh my, i am so terribly sorry, laminitis is such a dreadful condition, i have a mare with very bad rotation, and i know what a fine line we are treading.
If you need a shoulder i am here, so sorry and i hope things improve xx
 
What a real shame, it must be a horrible time for you. I know it is a tough decision for you but i always think, if they are in pain, better a week early than a day late.
I am so sorry you have to go through this.
 
hi there i have followed your posts recently and kept wondering how things were going for you ,I really do know how you feel i lost my lad 8weeks ago exactly the same thing had happened he was 15.1 welsh cob on 4 to 5 danillon a day! at one point tried metacam, all pain killers to try to keep him comfy imprint shoes etc its such a hard decision to make i just knew if none of that amount of pain killer wasnt working it wasnt fair to keep going and broke my heart but i couldnt bear to see him go another day in such pain and vet said nothing more could be done for him and as chestnutty mare has just said above better a week early than a day too late sometimes . also know what you mean its hard to keep it toghether infront of the kids when you are so upset .

So sorry to hear your sad news, if he is not telling you to let him go can you give him longer I am sure you will know when. We also got bad news from the vets yesterday, they can do no more for our 8yo TB eventer, although I knew in my head that was going to be their news I hoped in my heart it wasn't.
