So very sorry to hear this news. I've been checking HHO all day on and off looking for your update and really so hoped for a good outcome for you and your lovely horse.

I didn't say anything yesterday but feared it might be liver/kidney failure as my mare died from the same thing (albeit not laminitis related).

My thoughts are with you, you certainly couldn't have done more for him.
