I collected Tommy today at 5pm. He was sooo pleased to see me - bless.
He was really bright and lively. We have to keep him quiet now at home. We have put his bed in the dining room so we can shut him away from our boistrous GSD if necessary. We decided he wouldn't like the crate as he is not used to it really.
He was so pleased to get in the car (lifted in by vet nurse) and get home. Our ofther dog, Alfie, came to have a good sniff of him but I separated them when Alfie tried to wash Tommy's scar.
The vet nurse asked if I would like to see the tumour! It was in the freezer but it was in a black bag so I couldn't 'see' it but I held it and it was heavy - over 4Kg which I think is about 9lb. So heavier than my daughter's when they were born!
He must be so glad to have got rid of that.
Let's hope he has a speedy recovery and is soon back to his usual self.
Thanks you ALL SOOOO much for your hugs, vibes and prayers - they worked!
