I collected Tommy today at 5pm. He was sooo pleased to see me - bless.

He was really bright and lively. We have to keep him quiet now at home. We have put his bed in the dining room so we can shut him away from our boistrous GSD if necessary. We decided he wouldn't like the crate as he is not used to it really.

He was so pleased to get in the car (lifted in by vet nurse) and get home. Our ofther dog, Alfie, came to have a good sniff of him but I separated them when Alfie tried to wash Tommy's scar.

The vet nurse asked if I would like to see the tumour! It was in the freezer but it was in a black bag so I couldn't 'see' it but I held it and it was heavy - over 4Kg which I think is about 9lb. So heavier than my daughter's when they were born!

He must be so glad to have got rid of that.

Let's hope he has a speedy recovery and is soon back to his usual self.

Thanks you ALL SOOOO much for your hugs, vibes and prayers - they worked!

Great news. Are they going to biopsy the tumour so that you know what youré dealing with? Told you never give up hope it's amazing what hho vibes can do hey?!!

Wow that is some tumour! Did they remove the spleen as well, I have known of a couple of dogs who have had spleens removed and have managed fine without them. The spleen seems to be one of those redundant bits like the appendix. Anyway, sending loads of vibes to Tommy, bet he sleeps well tonight. x

Ah, that great news, heres hoping Tommy makes a speedy recovery
