I've had Bobbi for 14 years and apart from a loan highland for a couple of years, she has been my main ride. She's 26 now and I've put on weight, so I decided it was time I got her a new partner in crime.
I wanted another mare, a bit bigger and happy to hack alone. And definitely not a grey. However my heart and my head don't always talk to each other, so when my friend told me about the mare she half heartedly wanted to sell I was interested. A 13.3/14h grey Fell mare, lovely natured but has had a bit of a tough time in the past so needs gentle handling and lots of time to build confidence in her surroundings and handler. She arrives tomorrow afternoon.
It will be a while before we are solo hacking, but how could I resist this face?
