Tomorrow is the day!

Having read through the posts in the "I haven't ridden since xmas Eve" thread, I have decided that tomorrow I shall get back on board my faithful stead for the first time since September. Various things have prevented me riding all this time; my wedding and subsequent honeymoon, horse being poorly and me breaking my hand!

However tomorrow is set to be a nice day and why not start the New Year as I intend to go on!

Pointless post but felt the need to tell everyone!

I was thinking the same he's been poorly but vet said walking out in hand or hacking in walk would be good for him but so far I haven't gotten on board. Hope you enjoy!

I'll be honest I am a tad nervous/worried about it. Horse had a few nosebleeds in November and vet wasn't sure what caused it, he's always been fine in himself but just hope the excersion of being ridden doesn't aggrevate it all again. I shall be taking it very steady to start with.

Yup i'll be the same - if he seems reluctant to go forward at all i'll be getting straight off and we'll be back to walking in hand!

Good luck. Last time I did that I felt fine when I left and came back green. Aparently I get sea sick when partying night before

I am supposed to wait another fortnight - Dr's orders as I broke my hand 10 weeks ago but now I am out of plaster I am raring to go! Hoping a little plod round the farm will do me good
