Does anyone else have a horse that does this around food? It's usually after he's been giving a treat (which doesn't happen very often), it's like he's begging for more food. Quite disconcerting as he has a very long tongue! :0))

Can't belive no-one has replied to you!

I know a horse who rolls his tounge up to the roof of his mouth and sucks after having a mint.

Not sure if this is correct but was told that it is a way of prolonging the tase.

My old boy sticks his tounge out of the side of his mouth. He used to do it when being told off so I always thought it was his way of giving me two fingers :D

Mine does it while he's waiting for dinner. He's a cribber too, but this is one of the few times when he never cribs - strange horse.
