My new loan pony has started putting tongue over the bit whilst ridden.
Her owner says she has never done it before, so i am the only person she is doing it with. She isn't doing it because of pressure as she never evades in the school as I am not strong with my hands. I have only ridden her around 6 times, and this is the second time its happened. The first time we were in the school and on the way back she somehow got her tongue over - my rains had no resistance and were not short, not loopy either. and then today perfect in the school and she went down the lane with a slightly longer rein, still nowhere near the buckle and when i asked her to halt she slipped it over then.
It's only me she has started doung this with and her owner does not want to put her in a flash or change bits, Ideas?
