Tony Andre Hansen guilty of doping - final decision

Since I haven't seen this posted elsewhere... The Court of Arbitration for Sport have dismissed Tony Andre Hansens appeal and a year and a half after the Olympics, the Norwegian team will have to give back their bronze medals.

Morten Djupvik, however, says he won't be returning his medal as he lost it when he moved house...

right...

you have to laugh. in the same week the FEI announces it will allow bute etc, CAS dismisses an appeal for a microscopic amount of a substance that isnt proven to do anything at all!

It is pretty weird indeed... I don't think TAH used any illegal substances on purpose, but obviously rules are rules.

I love that Morten D claims to have lost the medal though... "Damn, now where DID I put that universally recognised sign of success, my Olympic medal...."
