Tony Curtis dies, and horses lose a friend.

Tony Curtis is known all over the world for his acting ability and films. Perhaps which is not quite such common knowledge is the fact that he and his wife run a highly regarded horse rescue ranch at their home in Nevada.

I did not know that about him. Very sad to see he has passed on, nothing better on a rainy afternoon than to curl up on the sofa with an old Tony Curtis movie.

Very sad but I did think at last they'll put some of him films on now. So predictable but I could watch some like it hot over and over again.

Another one of the old time movie stars. I am old enough to remember the films with John Wayne, Steve McQueen, Yul Bryner, Paul Newman Gregory Peck, etc. They were proper movie stars, not like the wimpy types today ! Although Rock Hudson was a bit of a shock!
