I've been riding in -4 daytime temperature, but the youngsters were due a week off, so I'm gladly taking that excuse to do nothing :D currently sat looking at them through the kitchen window with a hotchocolate!

Rode at work this morning, but the surface was harrowed as we were on it!! Not doing mine, as nothing like the same facilities. They all live out and are mooching about eating hay and seem happy enough.

Got on mine this morning, dog got a good run too because of it. Had several bouts of strong wind with snow drifting into us and a couple of blizzard moments. Rest of the time the sun was out but still -4 with windchill.... now it's cloudy and cold. Horse seemed to love it.

Haven't been to the yard since Sunday - I don't get there till 7pm after work and it has been feels like -10 so feel mean taking a rug off a fully clipped pony and riding in the frozen arena and also v cold for me too. He is on part livery and so far has been able to get some turnout every day. I am spending the evening reading and relaxing in the warm at home and pony is warm and in his stable eating his hay.

Hopefully the cold spell won't last long and will be back to normal routine soon.
