See I think the donkey is bored out his mind, no company and a barren postage stamp of a field.
I can't agree that the short clip shows that, although I don't think donkeys should be kept alone. Plus I would love a piece of land that bare to put mine on. It would be so much more suitable than my grass fields that have to be meticulously controlled to guard against obesity and laminitis.

My two donkeys live with my horse and the donks will play with everything and anything exactly like the donkey in the clip. But I do accept that this one would have a lot more fun with another one to help chase and kill the ball!😊

My first thought was the fencing for the donkey! To be fair he may have a companion who is not in the field right at that moment - he has a big shelter. No grass - no problem for a donkey I think? Better too little than too much. It's not a huge paddock but I have seen them in smaller. He didn't look too bad at all to me.
