There is a couple of dressage test at my yard on sunday, dont know whether to do it with ellie or not, it would be the walk and trot test, i have never done a D.T with her! she absoloutley hates snaffles :/, i tried another one in her today was not to bad but just doesnt got that well hollows with it on corners, is there any point doing it? we normally sj so dont go in a snaffle and will go so well in her other bit, but cant use it for dressage, what would you do? do it for the fun of it? or =-/ i just keep thinking i am going to get a shocking score lol

You can't do worse than lucy and i. On our first and ONLY attempt at afill dressage we got elimanated lucy just stood in the middle of the arena and refused to move she even threatened to rear

but as soon as the judge rang the bell to ask us to leave she walked to the exit as quiet as a lamb

. The anoying thing is when she wants to play she does well and sometimes gets placed. It just depends what mood she's in on the day

have a go and enjoy, read the comments the judges make and you might find them usefull and gain some insight as to why she doesn't go well in a snaffle for you

She goes well in her double, and we also have a slotted kimblewick which she likes, obviously cannot be used for dressage.... have tried a french link snaffle the one i tried today, hanging cheek french link and both without the frenchlink, Really need to give a happy mouth a go but dont want to be wasting my wages

, she over bends with the hanging cheek, tried the waterford, i dont know what it she does not like about them, she is not hard mouthed in any way, its probally just my shocking riding lmao
