I'm hoping to take Daisy to a pleasure ride on Saturday but I've started to worry that it'll be too far to drive her. Do you think she'll be alright to be driven for an hour and then ridden for 2-3 before being driven back again? She travels fine, has stopped sweating since I thought to open the window, am I just worrying for nothing?

As long as she is fit enough for the work I'm sure that will be fine. You can spend some time grazing her in hand before travelling back if you are worried.

I thought I'd give her half an hour to chill before and after the ride. She's fit enough for the ride, we went out for 4 1/2 hours a couple of weeks ago and she was fine. I'm just going to work her lightly on Friday and give her Sunday off after the ride. I'm just being a worrier really, the box is new and this will be the first party she's been to in it, all her other trips have been practices or the vets but there's no point having it if we don't use it eventually

MelinsQuest and PiebaldSparkle spent 7 hours travelling to my house with their horses, turned them out for an hour and then we went on a two hour hack and they were both raring to go! I really think Daisy will be fine
