Too fat or just right - round two!

I want to say okay, but no more; but it looks like a fat roll is starting on/behind the shoulder (pictures two and four).

Having seen the grazing I think it would be difficult with a muzzle on, so I think I'd be upping the exercise level (what is done in the hack, rather than longer

) and/or bringing in for part of the day

I agree, she's usually muzzled at this time of year but the grazing is incredibly short; they have to really rove around and work to find bits to eat.

I really need to ramp up the schooling work I think, we were out hacking for nearly two hours today and she came back warm but fresh and with not a drop of sweat on her. We have reached hacking saturation point, now for muscle-building schooling time! (-groan-

I looked at my horse again today and he's an idxtb and he's actually, huge. :| Im an ashamed owner lol because you have to prod him to find his ribs. I call him fat, i call your mare spot on

I think she looks great and can just see her ribs a little in a few pics, i think the shoulder in my eyes looks more like muscle than fat if she is hack for a length of time and some hunting
