I clipped my pony a month ago and shes started growing back hair again. lol.
Would it be too late to clip her again? This would be the fourth time, hairy beast. :(
She's dun and goes a horrible white/blue/grey colour so I'd be scared in case her lovely dun summer coat was ruined.
I just want to keep her neat and tidy for the shows coming up at the end of the winter as my pony is a strictly hair-free zone. ;)
Good idea or not?

I think you should be ok - I have just fully clipped my show cob today. I also hunt him and have left his legs and face on for protection, but took it all off today so that he has no clip lines for Spring showing.

i've clipped four in the last two days have three more to do this weekend....i always clipp now and have never had a problem...if it pony/horse needs doing ....do it :)

Um, not sure actually - loads of horses up my yard are moulting like crazy. Surely this is a sign that the new coat is coming through?

If you clip soon and providing you are doing a full clip it should not affect the summer coat. If you are doing anything less than a full clip then you may still be able to see the lines through out spring and summer. I would give my horse a full clip this time of year... I say would because at present he is a hairy beast as he has had the winter off... and his coat would be fine
