Too many downs not enough ups!

I'm giving up guys....just not getting anything from this at the moment. I have felt on and off about it for the last 12 months or so. I am selling my 2 and giving my adorable loan pony up. OH and I have decided to rent our land and stables out to give us some breathing space.

I will go back to having a horse someday,when other commitments have settled down. Perhaps put in livery,maybe that way.

Terribly upset,but my health comes first.

Oh, i'm really sorry you've made that decision - but horses are an expensive hobby and if the enjoyment isn't there then it's probably for the best.

I'm contemplating selling my mare at the moment as she is proving to be lethal out hacking, don't really want to be restricted to riding in the field only but losing my confidence fast

Maybe the break will do you good and a happier future with horses awaits!

Thankyou guys. I know I'm doing the best thing right now for me and my ponies. I have horses in my blood but derive little pleasure at the moment.

Me too! I know how you feel, I have put one of mine out on loan and I have just put the other one on project horses - for loan - I need a break

It is just as you say - getting nothing back from it, I just want a winter without the worry and stress
