Too much grass

Have to much grass for cob and Shetland thinking of renting fields out to farmer. How much should I charge for 5 acres.For cows or sheep.also there will be more grass after hay is cut

Well I pay £200 a month for 15 acres from a farmer, so suspect they wouldn't pay more than £50 for 5 acres. Maybe some horses on grass livery might be a better option.

Not sure about cows but locally farmers only pay 15p per day per sheep! it isn't a lot if your looking for a income.

Get some fencing and make a track round your field, then they won't have access to all the grass. This is what I've done with my 2 - fatty cob in a strip round the outside and TB on the square in the middle
