My boy gets two/three kilos of soak hay then threes scoops of honeychop lite and healthy and if hr is hungry he eats it if he isnt there is still half a bucket left.
Its not a food he loves and will hoover. Its just there
 
wrt TopChop Zero-mine started off troughing it but after a couple of weeks they started to pick at it overnight along with their hay. I can't get the other plain chaffs very easily so have stuck with this and its been quite useful.

He has linseed to help the turmeric stay in the system, and it’s massively beneficial for his coat/skin. I’ve noticed a massive difference when feeding it. Tried the big poles & his sweet itch rug is zap-proof, even hooked up to a super strong electric fence😫 another reason I can’t leave him out 24/7 is because he’s cooking in his SI rug unfortunately😫

I can’t not feed him ad-lib hay as it really messes with his system and gets very stroppy & sensitive (same with why I’m weary with straw). In fairness to himthough, he has a ‘normal sized’ haynet and that’s classed as ‘ad-lib’ for him. I think all he does in the stable is nibble and nap. It’s just he stuffs his face when out on the grass, regardless of 2 hours out or 24. I think my only option is really sticking with exercise, even if I have to pay someone to come ride😫
